Alrighty- So it's been forever since I've posted about what we've been up to... here is a quick recap of all of the fun things that have happened in the last bit!
Emma got to play with some of her cousins...

Tonya was up for a visit...threw me in her cute clothes...and took these...

Tonya is so talented...I am always in love with the pictures she takes. (and isn't Jeff just such a hottie? Oh my goodness!)

Love them!

In August, my sweet Mama was diagnosed with cancer. She has been such a strength to me during these last few months (Silly, isn't it? It should be the other way around but that's just the way my mama is! Wonderful!) I have seen how positive and happy she is throughout all of her painful & scary cancer-fighting procedures. I love my Mom. She is the best! Just before she started her Chemo treatments, Tonya and I took her and my Dad out for some photos. Tonya captured them beautifully- you can read her post here: Tonya Joy
Here are a few of mine:

My Mama is so gorgeous. And I just love how cute my Dad was for these photos.

I love my parents. They are so upbeat, positive, giving, and just plain wonderful. Really, they are!

Then, Jeff left us girls at home and went on a "Man-Trip" with his brothers.

This is where the boys went hiking/camping.
Isn't it gorgeous?

He had a great trip but I thought he'd be back down from his hiking earlier on the last day...so of course...when my phone call didn't come by 3 PM...I worried....no call by 6 pm...and I worried even more....then by 9 PM I was in full "my-husband-got eaten-by-a-bear" freakout mode...thankfully, he finally called me at 9:45 pm.
A few days later, our whole family was off to Orange County. Gwen and Emma went to their cousin's house to play and for two days Jeff and I played model for a photography workshop. Let's just say it was amazing...and so much fun!

They had a crew of people there to do my hair and makeup, two different wedding dresses for me to wear, and a beautiful mock wedding set up at a local park.

Oh, it was beyond gorgeous! (and they even had a cake...yep...we got to eat cake!)

A peek at day 1:
(and I know, some of you are thinking, "WHAT! GENA IN A STRAPLESS DRESS! THIS CAN'T BE!" ...well, I thought that too...but ...we were playing model...acting, if you will...and besides, I think it's hilarious that the dress showcased my awesome "farmer-john" tan line...really...it's funny, right?) :)

and a peek at day 2:

The best thing about this workshop, well besides the spending time with my husband part, was meeting so many nice people! Really, I am still amazed at how nice all the photographers were!

and just because he's so good-looking, one more of this man.

Just a little sneak of this gorgeous girl...more to come soon.
